Missions

Missions are the heartbeat of our Lord Jesus

Cooperative Program Missions Giving

In partnership with thousands of other Southern Baptist Churches in Arkansas and across the world, we support one of the largest efforts in making disciples of all the nations by financial giving through the Cooperative Program. The Cooperative Program allows us to support the work of Arkansas Baptists in our state (www.absc.org), and also the spread of the gospel in our own country through the Southern Baptist Convention (www.sbc.net) and North American Mission Board (www.namb.net) and in the world through the International Mission Board (www.imb.org).

How Does it Work?

As Christians and churches we can do far more together with one another than we ever can apart from each other. When you make a monetary offering at First Baptist Church Clarendon, a part of your undesignated financial gift goes to the Arkansas Baptist State Convention office in Little Rock and then is immediately distributed to ministry work in the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, Southern Baptist Convention, North American Mission Board, and International Mission Board.
